Whether it’s a refreshing pint of beer, a cup of freshly brewed coffee, a bar snack, or a mouth watering three course meal in Floyd’s Brasserie , The Bell Hotel has just what you’re looking for.

Relax in the bar and enjoy the traditional atmosphere created by the 17th century original oak beams and unique murals of panoramic local country scenes and wildlife painted in 1969 by local artists Baynes and Huskings.

When the weather’s warm you can enjoy your meal and drink in the pretty courtyard. When there’s a cold nip in the air, you can wind down in front of the warmth of the log fires which brighten the bar areas.

The Bell offers a wide selection of cask ales, lagers and spirits.
An extensive wine list features a selection of quality red, white and rose wines from France, Australia, Italy and Chile.

Bar meals are available every day from midday to 2.30pm, 6pm to 9pm.

Sample dishes available on the bar menu include:

Beer battered cod and hand-cut chips
Grilled sardines served with mixed leaves and lemon
English mussels ‘a la mariniere’
Home made beef and Wadworths 6X pudding
Sausages and mash – three Faringdon sausages with creamy mash and gravy
The Bell Burger – half a pound of pure beef with dill pickles and hand-cut chips
